Delivery and Installation
For your convenience, we offer delivery and installation of nursery stock from April 1st – November 1st . It is our goal to deliver and/or install your landscape order within 1-7 days. We cannot guarantee a day or time, which is why it is important to place the flags in your yard as soon as possible. If JULIE is required, please allow 2 business days for them to locate the area and please call us once the area is marked. The plant site must be free of any debris, roots, and stumps. Removal services may be made at an additional cost and arranged ahead of time to ensure proper tools and machinery are brought to the planting site. This site must be accessible and please be sure to have water available to settle in your newly planted items.

Please Note: Redeliveries will result in a second delivery charge or the order will be refunded less the original delivery charge.

Planting Tips
1. Dig the hole to the depth of the root ball and 1’ wider than the ball or container – It is better to plant slightly shallow than too deep.
2. Remove plant from the container. If the plant is in burlap, leave the burlap on (and wire basket if applicable.) Place or roll the root ball into the hole then cut the twine and burlap from around the trunk and top of the root ball.
3. Fill the hole with ½ original soil and ½ peat moss (recommended for dry/sandy soil) or ½ compost (recommended for wet/clay.) Adding a root stimulator fertilizer would be an added benefit as well.
4. Water thoroughly to settle the soil and adjust soil level if necessary.

Care Tips
1. Newly planted shrubs and trees need at least 1” of water per week. Water thoroughly if the soil is dry 1” below the surface. A good watering is recommended over frequent shallow watering’s. Evenly water sod 1 hour a day until firmly rooted.
2. Leaves may wilt from too much water, not enough water, transplant shock or lack of fertilizer. Follow the 1” water rule. If fertilizer is advised, apply starter fertilizer according to the label instructions.
3. To conserve moisture and minimize weed growth, spread 2” of mulch around the plant keeping 1” from the trunk.
4. Prune off dead limbs and deadhead flowers, as necessary. Stake trees only in windy areas.
